For Free Adoption

https://youtu.be/G1nML13ot-I

They are five female kittens for adoptions. Please give them a second home. We supposed to send them for castration before rehoming but free castration was cancelled due to lockdown. We cant wait because we have a new batch of rescued kittens. We cannot hoard them, I already have seven and Rose has around thirty rescued adult cats.

We have to let them grow for three months old before rehoming. I think they came from two different mama cats. They were being dumped around banana trees near the bridge. They will all die there if we didn't get them.

These are the photos of puppies we rescued and sent them for an adoption. We are glad that some of our fosterer are updating their fosters and sending photos to us. Although some were not. Later I am gonna acknowledge those best fosterer in one of my post. Some of them treated their adopted like a child sleeping on bed with them. We take no adoption fees.

My other rescued pets!

So heres how the story begin. Please bear with me about my english grammar! I am just a pet lover, never a degree holder.πŸ˜…πŸ˜„πŸ˜‚

These are my other rescued pets. I am going to tell you the story each one of them later. I just need to do the sharing as soon as possible to start the fundraising because I want to bring Chloe to Vet for platelets count and to continue her medications. They are so adorable. I love all of them that's why I'm doing this. There are still many photos to be uploaded I am working on. More story of them to be told. I do not own a house, wondering why I am rescuing these tiny creatures! Somehow we should do our best way of helping others depending on what life's calling we're up to.

Future Projects: No More Stray Animals Solution Proposal

So heres how the story begin. Please bear with me about my english grammar! I am just a pet lover, never a degree holder.πŸ˜…πŸ˜„πŸ˜‚

If my fundraising blogsite will succeed, I would like to continue devoting my life on stray animals problem. I have seen the problem continue because of not rooting the cause. Sheltering them is just a temporary solution that last for a lifetime. It is a hard work to do both for the the one who manage the shelter and also for the animals when the shelter do not continue or having no more fund to sustain to. Animals like dogs and cats breed so fast. Stray animals occur when the owner abandoned them because they cannot give them food anymore. Food is not the only basic need of dog and cat at home. They also need medications, vaccines, deworm and good housing too.

Lack of education is number one problem in Philippines. Many people are not informed that they should be responsible handling dogs and cats. Its like that when they serve us, we must provide their needs as a return or as much as possible like many of us doing is to treat them like a friend. Unfortunately some of us are just putting their dogs in front of the house to work as a security guard. To bark when there is stranger who comes around. They dont even bothered if the chain is too short or if the collar is too tight. Well...we are not forcing everyone to be an animal lover, but I hope people who are not animal lover should not have one. I hope every local government should impose a law that protect dogs and cats rights...to be specific.

The best solution I know is for every Town or City to have a Public Veterinarian Clinic specially for Castration only. Many houses and families used to get animals for their home. Without them knowing the animal biology like behavior, breeding and etc. They dont care because normally, they can just give the puppies to the neighborhood if their dog breed or just to dump the kittens on the garbage without violating any law. Some owner are responsible for their pets though as they would love to send them to a private Vet Clinic, the cost is not affordable by many. Meaning if there will be a free castration that maybe available all the time, then it would be convinient for the owner to spay or neuter their pets. Believe me if that will happen, in years to come there will be no more stray animals. I know some areas of the Philippines are already doing that like Bacoor Cavite and other provincial region. I became part of Bacoor Cavite free castration for my dog and cats. Although it happens only twice a year, somehow it makes a huge impact preventing an animal growth population. The owners are not always to blame for stray animals, the government must also help them to resolve the problem.

So we hope and pray that this pandemic will be solved by the government soon so that we can have our life hopefully be back to normal and to pursue this project proposal of mine.

Each of my pet is special and has a unique story.

So heres how the story begin. Please bear with me about my english grammar! I am just a pet lover, never a degree holder.πŸ˜…πŸ˜„πŸ˜‚

Who is Chloe?

When I was working in Small Town Lottery last year, one black stray dog that I just called Blacky gave birth to four puppies near my lottery booth. I was new there and did not know much about the place yet. I found out that Blacky's three grey puppies died one by one and the one with different color was remain alive. Many people there wanted her because of her gorgeous look but I took her knowing that they may not be that responsible handling dogs. Me neither was not sure what kind of life we gonna be. I was stuck with 8 USD daily income that just goes to my apartment and food with my 2 rescued cats and feeding some cats around as long as I could. But whats the difference of not getting her? What if she die like her siblings. They were born with the cold floor and dirty sorroundings.

I named her Chloe because she was fatty fluffy gorgeous puppy. I used to bring her with me at my work because no one would take care of her in my apartment, unlike my cats who are independent as long as there is water, food and litterbox. It was like I had a baby because my bag are loaded with milk, feeding bottle, wipes and wet food. I also started to deworm her and surf the web about puppies vaccines etc. After that deworming you're not gonna believe what came out of her. See photos

On the third day of Chloe with me, she started to show symptoms of distemper. Although the thick pads of her feet was noticeable since at the very first day. And the most severe symptoms that she have up to now is the tremor. I already know Rose during that time, so she helped me deal with it. Rose used to get Chloe from my booth every morning to do subcutaneous dextrose infusion to avoid dehydration. Chloe could not withstand the heat on my booth so she returned her on the afternoon.

I never thought I would face myself to camera holding my Identification Card for a Tala loan app to sustain her medication. Up to now I am not out of it because I pay I renewed. And I really dont know how to get out of it now due to pandemic.

Chloe's tremor is lifetime they said. Her tounge is out even when awake or asleep. Now Chloe is big. Your heart will melt seeing her tremor like a ride-on horse with a tounge that is always out.

Her recent photo showed she is thin because she got sick during lockdown. Right before lockdown I took another loan for me to moved to Rose apartment. There were fleas and ticks to my previous apartment and their target was Chloe. Chloe is more prone to fleas and ticks because they can easily hatch on her warm fluffy coat. Unlike my other dog Brownie who has a short coat, she can get rid of them by scratching especially the bigger one.

After we moved to Rose apartment in just several days Chloe's nose bleed so badly. Of course she probably had Ehrlichiosis from the tick bites. Its good we are already near to Rose who assessed her symptoms and since Hopper got Ehrlichiosis before we just followed some of her medication for Chloe except the one that needs prescriptions. I would say its good that I am home due to lockdown because what if I am at work and Chloe bleed to death. I already got another job to BPO in Manila. Its a no work no pay. I am still a newbie that's why I am excluded to work from home program.

I never brought Chloe to any Vet Clinic eversince. She is not yet diagnosed by Doctor regarding her distemper and now with Ehrlichiosis. I made this fundraising blogsite for me to bring her to a Vet. I couldnt even send her to a nearby Vet Clinic to check her CBC. I wanna know the status of her platelets as well as her distemper and the tremor if there something we can do about it. I am a hands-on person, I know that only furparents who may understand this, but taking care of 7 cats and 2 dogs are really time consuming work.

I cant even afford to buy a portable aircon for the house. The summer weather in Philippines is too hot for a fluffy dog. Thanks to Madame Fina, a British Facebook new friend who suggested to put some blanket in fridge and put it to her. It is amazingly worked! She slept good with that cold blanket during afternoon. Experienced Furparents are really helpful. I also wanna thank Madame Mia, an American new Facebook friend who suggested a fundraising sites although some of them did not work, but here I come making this nonprofit fundraising blogsite for my furbabies.

To be honest, to rehome all of them had came to my mind many times. Because I am having a hard time supporting them especially Chloe. I cant even buy new underwear eversince I rescued them. They also suffer because of meπŸ˜₯. I am sad because I cant even buy a ball for Chloe and Brownie. What I can only give them to play are empty water bottles that is very noisy when bitten but somehow makes them happy. I never bought dog shampoo. I only share my shampoo to them, its better than buying dog shampoo and let them shared with meπŸ˜‚. The least I can give is food. No more hunger once I picked them up from the street as I promised. I also buy them vitamins and medications somehow.  Some of my rescued cats were rehomed last year. Kindly browse pet adoption corner on the left side. But then these cats of mine now are new rescued. Brownie is supposed to be in adoption too but no adopter likes her maybe because shes is not that looking good so I just keep her with me. Poor Brownie...I am afraid to post Chloe for adoption. Maybe her adopter wont have much time to take care of her as the way I do.

Another reasons why Chloe is special are her polydactyly

Georgia is now Hopper, what a successful story!

First, I would like to thank to all the donors for Hopper's surgery. Donors names are listed below with some anonymous donors. Special recognition for your generousity especially Lost Animal Soul Shelter of Malaysia who donated 3,350 Php. All the details and receipts are posted below.

So heres how the story begin. Please bear with me about my english grammar! I am just a pet lover, never a degree holder.πŸ˜…πŸ˜„πŸ˜‚

Last year, when I was working as a Small town lottery teller I used to bring cat food and feed the stray cats around my booth in Kawit Cavite Philippines. They have no shelter but the underneath of those cars that were parked at the parking lot so seeing the cats like a Rambo look because of the engine oil was usual. Until I met Rose who also coming around to feed the stray animals. Unknowingly Rose has a neighbor named Nonita who had many dogs and their situations was very awful. Nonita had 16 dogs with her, some of them were also rescued dogs but Nonita is not that knowledgeable and capable when it comes to vaccines, feeding, deworming and castrations that made them more puppies born. So Rose asked me some help what to do. Since I already had two rescued cats at my apartment, I already read some animal groups in facebook where someone who can post pets for adoptions. So I posted their photos, luckily we found adopter and we successfully sent them for adoptions. Don't worry we screened them. We only left 3 dogs with Nonita for her not to become sad of their separations.

Aside from that, there was a dog named Georgia that I called it Hopper when I saw her how she walks with an injured leg. She followed Nonita to the road and accidentally hit by a car. The old lady couldn't even afford to bring her to a Vet. Rose who is a nurse couldn't also afford to send her to doctor because they are already feeding 30 rescued cats and 10 dogs. Rose with her husband and their two children are all registered nurse. So amid of having no fund, they were able to give Hopper first aid. Bandage has been change, antibiotics and some medications administered to avoid sepsis. Those 10 years experience of Rose taking care of animals made her familiar how to assess dogs illnesses and treatments. She also had a free consultations of Georgia's case to their Vet even via phone. The given medication was just temporary. The Veterinarian doctor suggested that its better to cut the full injured leg via surgery instead of putting other way of treatment like bone cement or by using prosthetics. And the doctor decided to give a doctor's fee discount after seeing Georgias case through photos. The surgery fees range from 14,000 to 16,000 Php that could become 10,000 Php only when discounted.

I started Hopper's post at July and completed the donations totalling 10,350 Php on November 2019.  Month of October there was a free castration in Bacoor City Vetirenarian Services Office. We decided to register Hopper for castration to avoid unwanted pregnancy prior to her surgery and to reduce her pain if spaying would be done  separately from her leg operation. And then she was spayed successfully.

The scheduled Vet clinic for her surgery was in Kings Road Veterinarian Clinic located in Molino IV Bacoor Cavite Philippines. Rose was informed by the clinic that they cannot accept patients for the time being because the clinic was under renovations. After that, holidays had come and gone that also delayed Hopper's surgery.

I used to visit Rose and I noticed Hopper's injured leg was so reddish. That was late of December.

Then on January 2020, Rose brought Hopper to Kings Road Vet Clinic to have her vital signs and blood chemistry check as part of preparation for her surgery.

Unfortunately her platelet count were so low that cannot undergo surgery. The doctor prescribed her medicines and needed to monitor her CBC for follow up as well as test for ehrlichiosis.

Her follow up results were still low. The Vet checked deeper and found out that there were fleas inside her ears where continue infecting her. So she had to take Nexguard to kill any larvae in her body and serve as prevention too.

Also the doctor has prescribed all best possible treatment like erythropoitin injection and tawa tawa herbal to increase her red blood cell in ordeptp to get the optimum level of platelet for a surgical procedure to be done soon.

Rose told me that all donations had been used for the treatment of Hopper's ehrlichiosis and the surgery should be done soon once the complete blood count becomes stable. I tried to post it again for the second time on facebook to ask another 10,000.00 Php donations but due to lockdown on March, people are restless and ignored the posts.

Then doctor decided to do the surgery because the uncertainty of lockdown may put Hopper's situation into critical, we may go back to zero and keep coming back tracking her stable blood count. Me and Rose discussed about it and we both have agreed to borrow money first and do the fundraising later after the lockdown. I would like to express my sincerest thanks to Rose and her husband for all the hardship and effort they devotedly contribute with so much love for Hopper. Bringing Hopper to Clinic repeatedly is really a time consuming task, and after the surgery they are the one who removed the suture because the President of the Philippines has an order of Enhanced Community Quarantine and it was impossible to bring back Hopper to the Vet Clinic. I am personally inspired how they change Hopper's bandage everyday despite the fact that they still have 10 dogs and 30 cats to feed, to clean their mess and yet I never saw them complaining.

Hopper: To all my donors😘😍, thank you for your generous donations that made my injured feet away. Now I can freely walk and roam around without a fleshless legbone. Special thanks to Mommy Rose for taking care of me, for giving me a comfort clean home, now I am flawless and happy and thank you for finally adopting me!🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢

( I decided to mention only their first name for their privacy)

This project would not have been possible without the participation of a young woman named Hazel. She was in her way home when she spotted Hopper on the street following Rose. Hazel was in the mini bus and she went down curiously wanting to know what happen to the injured dog. She took out some biscuits from her bag and tried to bribe Hopper to tell her what this leg story all about. On that moment Hopper had led the girl on my Lottery Booth where Rose used to feed the cats around. After conversations with her she offered to share my fundraising post to her facebook friends in fact some of the donors are her office mates.

While we have made some great strides, the surgery fee of Hopper amounting 10,000.00 Php or 200 USD still has to pay back. Would you consider donating 5$ to help us pay back this 200 USD loan. We would greatly appreciate your donations. I would surely update once we meet the target amount. Please help us. We are not asking for donors who donated already. We are glad and greatful to receive donations once.
